To setup Netscape 7 for Windows to send and receive e-mail, follow these steps:

You will need the following information to setup e-mail.
E-mail address:
User Name:
Incoming Server:
Outgoing (SMTP) Server:
You can look up the settings for your e-mail here:

With Netscape running:
1 - Go to the 'Tasks' menu and select 'Mail & Newsgroups'.

2 - Go to the 'Edit' menu and select 'Mail/News Account Settings...'

3 - Click on 'New Account' in the bottom left of the window.

4 - Select 'Email account', then click the 'Next' button.

5 - In the Identity window, enter
- Your Name - This is the name people will see when you send them an e-mail address. I can be any name or nickname you like.
- Email Address - Enter the e-mail address you are setting up .
Click the 'Next' button to continue.

6 - For the type of incoming server for your account, select 'POP'.
- Incoming Server - enter your incoming mail server .
- Outgoing Server - enter your outgoing mail server .
Click the 'Next' button to continue.

7 - Enter your 'User Name'

8 - Enter your 'Account Name'. This is used by Netscape to differentiate among different account setups in Netscape. We recommend you enter your e-mail address , although you can enter any descriptive name that you like.
Click the 'Next' button to continue.

9 - Click the 'Finish' button to finish the setup. Then click the 'OK' button to close the Account Settings window.
